Me and my hubby went to Bo’s coffeeshop to try their desserts. We decided to try out their blueberry cheesecake (Php125.00) and Lemon Square (php45).
Their cheesecake tasted alright…not too thick and overpowering. But then again my tastebuds are still craving for some Uno cheesecake! *sigh*
I missed McDo’s Twister Fries, good thing they brought it back again! Although I’m actually a bit surprised at how expensive it already is! If not for my terrible craving for these fries I think I’d be more happy spending Php52.00 on something else. Geez, a Burger Mcdo Meal costs a little less than that!
My stinginess diminished immediately upon seeing their Twister Fries. I like mine with their Barbecue Sauce (originally for their nuggets). I didn’t mind spending an extra Php8.00 for that, thinking: if I am ordering Twister Fries, then I might as well go all in and fully experience it just the way I like it.
Just a few bites and I’m in my happy place again. I just love its crunchy outside and soft inside. Its flavor definitely has that kick you won’t get from ordinary fries. The world almost stopped and it felt like it’s just me and my Twster Fries (with Barbecue Sauce) and nothing else matters. (ok, that’s overly melodramatic…) A few more bites and high school memories came flashing in. I did have quite a few Mcdo memories from those days. (..let’s not get too sentimental here, I’m still in my happy place) Oh well, those were also the days when Burger Mcdo Meal costs Php29.00 only. *sigh*
I dunno when Twister Fries and I will meet again. How about you, have you crossed paths again? Well, the next time you do, why not try it with their Barbecue Sauce? I hope you enjoy it as much as I always do!
